Scholarship Purpose:
To provide scholarships to high school graduates or post high school graduates who intend to study or are studying Health Information Technology (Medical Records) in college.
Who was Karen E. Schneider?
Karen was a single parent for many years of three boys. She did not waste time feeling sorry for herself she enrolled in college and earned her degree with an major in Health Information Technology. Karen was R.H.I.T. (registered health information technologist) and a certified coder.
It was not easy going to college full time, working full time and raising three active young sons. She always felt that if she had a just a little bit of help she could have gone through college and spent more time with her sons and would have had to use less child care.
Karen was always a very loving and generous person. Always willing to help those she felt were in need.
